Moonbird was the name our father gave his jewellery shops and encapsulates his love of travel; nodding to the strong cultural influences of Ibiza, South America, Germany, New York, Turkey, India, and Bali, underpinned by a deep interest in the spiritual aspects of life, the concept of a united force and a different, larger perspective. 

Fascinated by the ancient idea that talismans increase our feelings of connection and safety, creating designs and jewellery pieces that add an empowering element to the wearer, he believed wearing jewellery could be inspirational and protective to the person, and this resonates deeply with us to this day.

The Moonbird motif of a bird flying through a simple crescent moon manifests freedom, connectivity and love.
