These hand-carved snake hoop earrings feature the rearing head of a cobra, a powerful and ancient symbol of protection, remaining steadfast and strong to ward off danger. Buddhist teachings recall the story of how the cobra shielded Buddha from the rain as he prayed, thus it became a sacred image of protection.
