Across many cultures the sound of the conch is considered sacred. This quiet voice heard within the shell echoes the resonant sound of the ocean itself. Even today, holding a shell to your ear feels like listening inward as much as outward.

This collection is a gentle reminder for us to embrace our own depth and uniqueness. It speaks to the idea of stepping into new chapters with clarity and confidence.

As kids we were never allowed much sugar but if we found a particular kind of rare shell, Mum would buy us a packet of chocolate biscuits!
