Shells were among the first materials used for adornment, marking an early moment in history where expression and a deeper awareness of self began to emerge. These natural forms weren’t only decorative; they were meaningful, carrying stories, beliefs, and a sense of identity. We’ve taken inspiration from the history of shells and combined it with our own to bring you this collection. We hope that collecting our shells brings you a sense of joy.
Shells have long been revered within cultures, representing ideas of transformation and connection. From their role as currency in Ancient Egypt to their use in spiritual rituals throughout Asia and the Pacific, shells reflect a shared human instinct to seek meaning in the natural world. Across many cultures the sound of the conch is considered sacred. This quiet voice heard within the shell echoes the resonant sound of the ocean itself. Even today, holding a shell to your ear feels like listening inward as much as outward.
Throughout Song of the Sea are themes of transformation and individuality. Just as a shell may appear modest on the surface it can reveal radiance within. This collection is a gentle reminder for us to embrace our own depth and uniqueness. It speaks to the idea of stepping into new chapters with clarity and confidence.
